This is a three-storey mansion, built in 1885. The first mansion in the town, it belonged to the Chrysogelos family, which had held an important position in the local society since the 19th century. Today it is one of the most remarkable renovated Neoclassical buildings of Messolonghi, with interesting architectural details, such as the symmetry and harmonious alternation of occupied (by windows and similar) and blank surfaces on the facades. It is registered as a work of art that needs special state protection.

The restoration of the building was completed by 2014 and now it has been given over to cultural uses, operating as a cultural and art center for the Region of Western Greece, with many events staged. In detail, it houses spaces for events and temporary exhibitions, while the ground floor is given over to the support node for cultural and creative businesses, known as the Creative@Hub of the Chamber of Aitoloakarnania. On the second floor there is a co-working space, where one can use for free electronic equipment and WI-FI.
