From the village of Ano Vassliki in Nafpaktia, access is offered to the northeastern part of Varassova, from where one can, following a short but quite steep and demanding climb, visit the caves that open up on this side. From the National Road of Messolonghi – Antirio, about 500 m from the turn to Ano Vassiliki, we can follow a path to the chapel of Agia Triada and then a dirt road, until we meet the marked entrance of the path, which leads both to the series of caves and to the top of the mountain, where ruins of a Byzantine temple, ruins of cells and a water tank are preserved.
