If we follow the old National Road of Messolonghi – Aitoliko in the direction of Aitoliko, for some 12 km in all, we have the opportunity to visit other points of interest apart from Aitoliko itself. These are located between the two settlements and are of great natural and historical importance. This route can also be done by bicycle, as it was a customary bicycle ride in the past by the Messolonghians. Or, to save time, you can do it by car.
